Distinguishing Features:
Wormholes across the whole object. Paint loss, reverse upper part of the left wing and in the middle of the right wing. There is a medium size hole, presumably from a screw, in the upper middle of the reverse side, app. 1 cm deep. There is a smaller oval hole in the middle of the left part of the reverse side, extending entirely through the object. The object is slightly damaged on most of its edges and protruding parts (nose, beard, tips of its wings, hair). The wood is slightly chipped on the reverse upper edge of the wings. There is a small, round metal hook in the upper middle part of the reverse side.
A wooden sculpture of a Cherub (head of an angel with two wings). Its hair is wavy and parted in the middle. It has almond shaped eyes and accentuated features. Its wings are closed and pointed downwards with the right one over the left one.
