Distinguishing Features:
The paint is cracked across the figure. There is a app. 3cm deep, 1cm wide hole in the top of its head. There is a small puncture on the left side of the head. There are traces of fill-in material in a vertical line down the back of his head, on the upper left part and middle right part of its back, on the part where its right arm was broken off, and along the drapery. There is a bent nail in the upper middle of its back. There is a piece of metal protruding from the back of the left thigh. There is slight damage and traces of fill-in material on its backside.
A wooden sculpture of an angel with his right leg bent at the knee. His head is slightly tilted to the left. It has wavy brown hair. There are traces of red pigment on his lips and eyes. A drapery is falling down from his left shoulder, down his chest and to the left of his hip and across his waist to his right hip. The figure has no arms from above the elbow, no left leg, and no toes of his right foot. The sculpture was originally made for St Mark's Church in Zagreb.
