The wooden gold sculpture of the Immaculate Conception (early 18th century), carved by the Baroque sculptor Mihael Pogačnik. The sculpture depicts a female figure dressed in a voluminous, flowing robe and wrapped in a voluminous drapery. Her head is tilted downward and to her right. Her arms are positioned in front of her chest, with hands held together in a prayer-like gesture. She has long, curly hair parted in the middle. Beneath her feet is a sphere with a snake coiling around it. She is standing with her right foot on the head of the snake, at the top of the sphere. The sculpture is positioned on a decorative plinth, shaped like an upside-down capital from a Corinthian style column.
